TONIGHT. Tonight won't be just any nigth. Tonigth there will be no morning stars. Tonight, tonight, I'll see my love tonight. And for us stars will stop were they are. Today the minutes seem like hours, the hours go so slowly, and still the sky is light. O moon, burn bright and make this endless day, endless night, tonight.
I FEEL PRETTY. I feel pretty, oh, so pretty, I feel pretty and witty and (witty and bright), and I pitty, any girl who isn't me tonight. I feel charming, oh so charming, It's alarming how charming I (how charming I feel) and so pretty that I hardly can believe I'm real. See the pretty girl in that mirror there, who can that attractive girl be? Such a pretty face, such a pretty dress, such a pretty smile, such a pretty me, such a pretty smile. such a pretty me. I feel stunning and entrancing. Feel like running and dancing (dancing for joy), for I'm loved by a pretty wonderful boy, by a wonderful boy.
ONE HAND ONE HEART. Make of our hands one hand, make of our hearts one heart. Make of our vows one last vow. Only death will part us now. Make of ourlivers one life. day after day one life. Now it begins, now we start; one hand, one heart. Even death won't part us now, won't part us now. Maria
MARIA. The most beautiful sound I ever heard: Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria. All the beautiful sound of the world in a single word, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, Maria, I've just met a girl named Maria, and suddenly that name will never be the same to me, Maria! I've just kissed a girl named Maria, And suddenly I've found how wonderful a sound can be. Maria. Say it loud and there's music playing, say it soft and it's almost like praying, Maria, I'll never stop saying: "Maria".
AMERICA. I like to be in America, okay by me in America, ev'rything free in America, for a small fee in America. I like the city of San Juan. I know a boat you can get on. Hundreds of flowers in full bloon, hundreds of people in each room. Automobile in America, chromium steel in America, wire spoke wheel in America, very big deal in America. I'll drive a Buick trhu San Juan. If there's a road you can drive on. I'll give my cousins a free ride, how you fit all of them inside? Inmigrant goes to America, many hellos in America, nobody knows in America, Puerto Rico's in America. When I will go back to San Juan, when you shut up and get gone? I like the the shores of America, confort is yours in America. Knobs on the doors in America, walt to walt in floors America. I'll bring a T. V. to San Juan, if there's a current to turn on. Evr'yone there will give big cheer.Ev'ryone there will have mobved here. I like to be in America, okay by me in America. Ev'rything free in America, for a small fee in America
