Away in a manger, no crib for a bed
The little Lord Jesus lay down His sweet head
The stars in the sky looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay
The cattle are lowing the poor baby awakes
But little Lord Jesus no crying He makes
I love thee Lord Jesus look down from the sky
And stay by my side until morning is night
Be near me Lord Jesus I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever and love me I pray
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care
And take us to Heaven to live with Thee there
Alla lejos, en un pesebre, sin una cuna para dormir
El niño Jesús recostó su dulce cabeza.
Las estrellas del cielo dirigeron su mirada hacia donde yacía el niño Jesús dormido en el heno.
El ganado está mugiendo, y despierta al bebé, pero el pequeño Señor Jesús no se echa a llorar.
Te amo Señor Jesús. Derrama tu mirada desde el cielo y quédate junto a mi hasta que la mañana sea noche.
Mantente cerca de mí, Señor Jesús, te lo ruego, no te alejes de mí y cuídame siempre.
Bendice a todos los niños, cuídalos con ternura, y llévanos al cielo para vivir allí contigo.
